First Aid Instructors are responsible for teaching and evaluating candidates participating in the Lifesaving Society CPR, Emergency First Aid, Standard First Aid, CPR-HCP, and Oxygen Administration programs.
Training to have contracted rescues and provide care to patrons and Public. Lifeguards uphold the Lifesaving societies mission of preventing drowning and water related injury.
National Lifeguard Instructors are responsible for teaching and evaluating candidates participating in the National Lifeguard Pool, Waterpark, Waterfront and Surf programs.
Lifesaving Instructors/ Examiners are trained to teach and evaluate the three Canadian Swim Patrol Program awards, as well as the Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, and Distinction certifications.
