Dear City of Lacombe residents,
It is my pleasure to bring holiday greetings on behalf of your City Council.
I applaud every one of you for making it through this challenging year. My sincere thanks for your contributions to our beautiful, historic city.
The year 2020 brought many challenges to each and every one of us in Lacombe. With pride, I saw our citizens – throughout the ongoing pandemic, and it’s associated economic strain - respond with kindness, understanding, and determination. With creative initiatives, I am confident the giving spirit of our residents will continue through the coming year – a year that holds promise for us all.
Before we chart the untested waters of 2021, I hope everyone in Lacombe has the opportunity to enjoy the holiday season. Please take a moment to reflect on all we can be thankful for. I understand gathering with your loved ones may be somewhat different this year, but celebrating the joys of family and community remain vital. Let’s all remain diligent in enjoying each other’s company safely and responsibly.
I have high hopes for Lacombe in 2021. I know I speak for Council and everyone at the City of Lacombe when I say we will work together to ensure everyone in our wonderful community can thrive and prosper.
I wish you a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New year.
See you all in 2021.
Grant Creasey, Mayor of Lacombe
