Recently completed are the washrooms and concession -- making the Michener Recreation Area that much more attractive for tournaments and special events.

While partaking in the fun and activity on the playing fields you can stay at one of the two campground areas. The upper campground has 37 camping sites with power. For a more rustic experience, there are 20 unserviced sites nestled in the trees at the lower campground. Group camping is also available by prior reservation in Les Walker Rotary Park. The gazebo and fire pit in a secluded treed area is ideal for family reunions, group or business gatherings.
