Government of Canada Children's Fitness Tax Credit
The children't fitness tax credit lets parents claim up to $500 per year for eligible fitness expenses paid for each child who is under 16 years or for each child under 18 who qualifies for the disability tax credit.

Canadian Tire JumpStart
JumpStart is a charitable program to help kids, aged 4 to 18 and in financial need, participate in organized sports and recreation activities such as hockey, dance, soccer and swimming. This program may help pay the costs of registration fees, transportation and equipment.

KidSport
KidSport may help pay registration fees for children aged 5 to 17 in a wide range of sport programs. The maximum amount per calendar year per athlete is $250 and priority will be given to children applying for the first time. An application is required.
