Whether you live in a house, apartment, condominium or mobile home, you should be prepared to take care of yourself and your family during an emergency such as a blizzard, power failure or tornado for a minimum of 72 hours. If a disaster happens, it may take emergency personnel some time to get to you as they respond first to those in greatest need.

 

By taking a few simple steps today, you can become better prepared to face a range of unexpected situations. Use these guidebooks to build a 72-hour emergency kit. Following a few basic steps will help you to take care of your loved ones during an emergency.
