LAND USE BYLAW 400.16 – Amendments in Preparation of the Legalization of Cannabis Sales & Production – New & Modified Definitions and Proposed Land Use Districts
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Lacombe has given first reading to Bylaw 400.16, to add and amend definitions related to Cannabis Sales and Production and adding Cannabis Retail Sales, Cannabis Production and Distribution – Major, and Cannabis Production and Distribution – Minor as permitted and discretionary uses in commercial, industrial and direct control districts.

When is the Public Hearing?
If you would like to make comments on the proposed amendment, the Council of the City of Lacombe will be holding a Public Hearing in the Council Chambers location at 5432 – 56th Avenue, on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 5:30pm.
How do I get involved?
Any person or group wishing to express their views on the proposed amendment will be given the opportunity to make a presentation during the Public Hearing. Written submissions can also be submitted for inclusion in the Public Hearing. All written letters or petitions regarding this amendment are to:
(a) Be filed with the Chief Administrative Officer no later than 4:30pm on Monday, August 13, 2018.
(b) Contain the names and addresses of all persons making the presentation, and
(c) State the name and address of all persons authorized to represent a group of persons or the public at large.
