An Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) can be completed and includes all registered information the City has on file pertaining to a specific site. Please note, if you are not the current property owner, landowner permission must be granted prior to the search. Please make a formal request by submitting the ESA application to Planning and Development Services at the City of Lacombe.

An Environmental Site Assessment may include information pertaining to:

  • Registered subdivision files
  • Original and Current Land Uses
  • Building Permits
  • Recorded fires or emergency spills on site
  • The presence of underground tanks
  • Presence of land fills
  • Legal infractions

Where your request involves viewing or receiving copies of the file (electronic or hand copy), a file search can be performed through a Property Search request for an additional fee.

Fees for an Environmental Site Assessment vary, depending on the number of files accessed and copies made.
