Below are links to a comprehensive listing of the City of Lacombe's current bylaws and policies.

Bylaws are laws created by the City. They are enforced by Peace Officers or Development Officers. Bylaws in Alberta are generally created under the authority of the Municipal Government Act. To pass a bylaw, Council must give three readings (three separate approvals) at Council meetings. The public is encouraged to provide input into this process.

Policies provide overarching standards for decision making and operations within local government. They help an organization operate consistently. Policies are approved by Council.

Note: Online bylaws and policies are not legal versions and may not include recent amendments. Official copies of City bylaws and policies can be obtained from City Hall.
